Purpose
The purpose of this management information is only to give an early indication of trend compared to the previous year. This timely high-level information is required given the opening of the new Belfast Grand Central Station during 2024/25.
Official Statistics
Public Transport Official Statistics are published annually on the DfI website and should be used for other purposes. These include more detailed statistics and provide definitions and quality information. The next planned official statistics release (Public Transport Statistics Northern Ireland 2024/25) will be around September 2025 when all relevant operational data have been quality assured and finalised.
